School Cross Country

The Year 3's participated in the School Cross Country on Wednesday the 14th of August. It was very muddy but so much fun. Everyone tried their best and the teachers were so proud of all the students.

A big welcome to all the children to Year 3 and Room 33. The students have settled quickly into new routines. As a homework task the students were asked to complete an "All about me" sheet. I was amazed at the quality of work that came back. The students have shared their work with the class and it is now collated on our classroom wall.

Paper Planes - Writing and Measurement

This week for Writing we are learning how to write instructions. This morning we made paper planes and recorded the instructions as we went. We are also integrating this into our Maths unit of measurement, where tomorrow we will measure the distance that our paper plane flies.
